By comparison of elements and historical themes in these two parts of great Iran, some unwritten historical data can be obtained that can be used in historical analyzing of Iran before Islam. I this survey of comparative method, some outstanding and remarkable selective indexes of Transoxiana historical works have been evaluated with the Iranian Sassanid ones from artistic themes and elements. The findings of this survey shows that Transoxiana art coincided with the Sassanid era contained themes and Iranian popular culture and symbols and its elements and themes , has wide visual culture representation of local culture of peasants and merchants. Sassanid art does not have the concepts and cultural symbols and themes in its foundations focus on the visual representation of the Sassanid Empire. Art of Transoxiana has a balance and proportionality in representation of historical facts of Transoxiana society and the simplicity and non luxury, yet a pleasant fluency in artistic expression while Sassanid art is an imbalance in representation and appropriateness of historical facts of Sassanid society full of pomp and show and has a surprising exaggerating artistic expression.     آثار تاریخی به جا مانده در فرارود در سده­های سوم تا هفتم میلادی، هم از نظر بنیادها و عناصر هنری و هم از نظر درون­مایه­ها و مضامین هنری با آثار تاریخی به جا مانده در ایران مرکزی دوره ساسانی تفاوت­های آشکاری دارد. با مقایسه بنیادها و درون­مایه­های آثار تاریخی این دو بخش از ایران بزرگ داده­های تاریخی غیرمکتوبی بدست می آید که می­تواند در تحلیل­های تاریخی ایران پیش از اسلام مورد استفاده باشد. در این پژوهش به روش مقایسه­ای گزیده های شاخص و برجسته ای از آثار تاریخی فرارود با ایران ساسانی به لحاظ مقایسه بنیادها و درون مایه های هنری مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفته است. یافته های این تحقیق نشان می­دهد که هنر فرارود مقارن دوره ساسانی برخوردار از مفاهیم و نمادهای فرهنگ عمومی ایرانی بوده و در بنیاد­ها و درون مایه­های خود بازنمایی بصری گسترده­ای از فرهنگ محلی دهقانان و بازرگان فرارودی دارد. هنر ساسانی با عدم برخورداری از مفاهیم و نمادهای فرهنگ عمومی جامعه ایران در بنیادها و درون مایه­های خود تمرکز زیادی در بازنمایی بصری قدرت شاهنشاهی ساسانی دارد. هنر فرارودی یک تعادل و تناسبی در بازنمایی واقعیت های تاریخی جامعه فرارود دارد و دارای سادگی و بی پیرایگی و در عین حال یک شیوایی دلپذیر در بیان هنری است در حالی­که هنر ساسانی یک عدم تعادل و تناسبی در بازنمایی واقعیت­های تاریخی جامعه ساسانی دارد و پر از تجمل و خودنمایی و  دارای یک بزرگنمایی و اغراق شگفت آور در بیان هنری است. https://irhj.sbu.ac.ir/article_95312_2b2b3c7818b2539318a144494d20fb63.pdf
