**Important Notice for Authors**

To enhance the scholarly quality of published articles, increase the international visibility of research, and strengthen the prospects of *Iranian Research on History* for inclusion in major international indexing databases, all authors are strongly encouraged to review and cite recent studies published in reputable **Scopus-indexed** international journals, where they are directly relevant to the subject of their manuscripts.

Experience has shown that engagement with up-to-date international scholarship and active participation in global academic discourse significantly improves the quality of research articles and substantially enhances a journal’s prospects for successful evaluation by leading international indexing services.

Accordingly, authors are encouraged to ensure that a substantial proportion of the references included in their manuscripts are drawn from high-quality international publications indexed in **Scopus**.

For studies on Iranian history, Iranian studies, Middle Eastern history, and related fields, authors are encouraged—where appropriate to the subject of their research—to consult and cite relevant scholarship published in internationally recognized journals such as:
