IRHJ started in 2008 and is published by the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences. The journal is dedicated to publishing the highest-quality original research on the history of Iran, including its cultural, social, economic, political, and foreign-relations dimensions.

Dear authors, in accordance with the editorial board's approval, you must download the Commitment and Conflict of Interest Forms from the authors' guide section and upload them to the system after completing them, along with the Paper files. Otherwise, the Paper will not be sent for review. 

 

Archiving Policy
To guarantee the long-term preservation and accessibility of published content, the full text of all articles is deposited in the institutional repository of Shahid Beheshti University and archived through the National Library and Archives of Iran. Article metadata and Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are permanently registered with Crossref to ensure persistent access and citation.


Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use Policy

Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and similar systems may be used only as assistive tools and cannot be listed as authors or co-authors. Any substantive use of AI must be disclosed, while authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and sources of their work. Fabricating references, quotations, documents, or data, or replacing scholarly reasoning with AI, is prohibited. Non-disclosure or unauthorized use constitutes a serious violation of publication ethics and will result in rejection.
